Masiero is an Italian story of passion, elegance, tradition and success in the art of lighting, recognised and chosen throughout the world. NAPPE collection is a distinctive icon of Masiero‘s contemporary decorative lighting. Marco Zito, the designer of NAPPE, claims that designing a decorative product is both a challenge and a liberation at the same time. For him, breaking down the barrier which separates design lighting from decorative lighting means to concentrate the attention to detail without sacrificing the value of a contemporary style.
NAPPE is inspired by tassels – objects with a timeless craftsmanship, precious, opulent, and almost baroque. To design a decorative product directly linked to tradition, Marco Zito aimed to eliminate every hint of a classical legacy and obtain elements with a contemporary design. At the end, the NAPPE collection includes ten different elements differing in shape or decorative detail for use as modular elements. The ten pendant lamps can be combined to create a range of installations.
